Frosty

It may be February and we may have just gotten our first substantial amount of snow but we couldn't have been more excited to get out and play!  We took full advantage of the snow and built Alivia's first Snowman!  She loves her Frosty!!

It was about time to update photos of our Alivia so we this afternoon we took a few photos!

I had three goals for our little photo shoot…

1. photos for Valentines Day

2. capture a photo to use for the 16×24 canvas Groupon from Picture It On Canvas  (It expires in 7 days)

3.  take a photo similar to one I saw on Pintrest.

Well, it was a HUGE success!  Here are some of the images from our shoot!

Fun at Vala's Pumpkin Patch!

We headed out for our annual trips to Vala's pumpkin patch!  This year was even more fun than last!  Alivia is such a little kid...not my baby anymore!  Our first trip was as a family.  Alivia had fun riding the train, playing in the corn, climbing on the spider web and going on the hayrack ride to get her very own pumpkin!  So much fun!!

Our second trip was with our Friday playdate group!!  It is so fun to see our kiddos developing amazing friendships!...all while the mommies get to spend time with our friends!

Oktoberfest

We made a trip back to Sidney for Oktoberfest.  It had been about 9 or 10 years since I had been back but it was pretty much what I remembered.  We spent some time at the tent, some time checking out the crafts but mostly we spent time with Masue!  Alivia loves spending time at my mom's house....and although she didn't love the long ride to Grandma's house, she did really well!

Apple Jack Festival

Tom and I took Alivia and Ayla to the Apple Jack Festival in Nebraska City a few weeks ago.  Tom went when he was younger and I had been wanting to go to Arbor Day Farm.  The weather wasn't ideal but we put on our rain boots and jackets and headed out anyway.  Jamie and Darren came down a little later to join us for some apple picking fun!  We will most definitely head back...but probably on a random day rather than during the festival.
