Finding the Joy {Week 5 - Experiences}

 

Week five was all about “experiences”. The goal was to capture childhood experiences.

Our inspiration was to think about the following questions.

Last week we focused on your family’s routines, this week we’re focusing on your child’s experiences.

For experiences, these may be events that will occur only once for your child. What are some “summer experiences” you remember from childhood? Can you replicate any of these for your child?  What are some big girl/big boy rites of passage your child will be experiencing soon? How can you capture these with your camera? Can you recreate any big milestones (such as learning to tie shoes)?

We celebrated the 4th of July at Tom's sister and brother-in-law's house with family and friends.  Alivia had fun playing with Ayla and the other kids that were there as well as experienced a few firsts!

Finding the Joy {Week 4 - Routines}

 

"Routines" was the subject for week four. The goal was to capture our weekly routines.

Our inspiration was to think about the following questions.

What are some of your memories as a child of your daily living? What were some of these that you wish you had a photo of? What time does your day begin with the kids? How do you start the day? What are some regular routines that you do every day with the kids? What are some of your favorite routines you have with the kids everyday?
